Caretaker - Maintenance and Cleaning Specialist

The Ontario Ministry of the Solicitor General is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Caretaker - Maintenance and Cleaning Specialist. In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for providing cleaning and maintenance services for our facilities, grounds, and vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our facilities, grounds, and vehicles.
- Identify and arrange for repairs and maintenance of building systems, furniture, and equipment.
- Operate cleaning equipment and maintain grounds keeping equipment.
- Communicate effectively with staff and external contractors to schedule and coordinate work.
- Provide excellent customer service to the public and relay messages to staff.
- Ability to pass a background investigation.
- Possess a valid Class G Driver's License.
- Knowledge of building operations and mechanical systems.
- Ability to determine repair needs and mechanical problems.
- Basic computer skills and arithmetic skills.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
