About Our Ideal Candidate:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Medical Oncologist to join our specialty healthcare team at Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality medical care to patients with cancer and other complex diseases
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of specialists to deliver comprehensive patient care
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in oncology and share knowledge with colleagues
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring of interns and residents

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Veterinary Medical Oncology (ACVIM)
  • Experience in a similar role or relevant specialty
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong diagnostic and critical thinking skills
