Strategic Consultant Opportunity

Zurich Canada is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Consultant to support the corporate development activities. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in driving business strategy and executing strategic initiatives across various business areas.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to build your knowledge and experience in a supportive environment where your voice matters. As a Strategic Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving and supporting select strategy development and execution activities, providing analytical support as part of the development/review/documenting of corporate strategies
  • Supporting corporate development activities, including target company profiling, due diligence, business case development, and document preparation
  • Evaluating the business operating environment, identifying possible opportunities/issues, and assisting in developing solutions to support the achievement of strategic and operational business objectives
  • Defining the value proposition of designated areas/business units in alignment with local and Group strategy
  • Designing and developing executive presentation materials and communicating strategy for key internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintaining a current analysis of the business' position relative to its goals and objectives
  • Providing robust proprietary research and analytical solutions along key strategic areas
  • Co-leading or managing relevant workstreams or projects to ensure completion of key deliverables
  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing other members of the team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 or more years of experience in Strategic Management
  • Travel 5%-10%
  • Master's Degree (preferred)
  • Project Management experience (preferred)
  • Insurance industry experience (preferred)
