Job Title: Bartender - PT (Highwayman Pub South Surrey)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team at the Highwayman Pub South Surrey. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a positive and friendly guest experience
  • Take beverage orders from customers or servers and serve drinks as requested
  • Keep a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, and glassware
  • Maintain a positive attitude while providing an exemplary guest experience
  • Clean, restock, and ensure that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift
  • Navigate and operate the POS System
  • Contribute to the team in living the corporate Values of Integrity, Community, and Excellence
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Previous bartending experience is an asset
  • Knowledge and appreciation for beer and wine pairings is an asset
  • Valid Serving it Right Certificate
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work efficiently in a team setting, and independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds on occasion
  • Commitment to a SAFE working environment
  • Must be 19 years of age or older to be considered
  • Preferred candidates will have open availability and be able to work a variety of shifts 7 days a week
