**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Team Assistant to provide administrative support to our team in a busy environment.

We are Ontario Health atHome, a leading healthcare organization dedicated to delivering responsive, accessible, and integrated patient-centred care. As a Team Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our team in their daily activities, ensuring that patients receive prompt and effective customer service.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide administrative support services to Care Coordinators
  • Process new referrals, orders for services, supplies, and equipment
  • Process and manage confidential patient records
  • Enter, update, and maintain patient data in our electronic database
  • Answer telephone inquiries from patients, families, and service providers
  • Provide back-up support to other positions as required

**Requirements:**

  • A Grade 12 diploma (minimum)
  • 2+ years' related office experience
  • Accurate keyboarding/data-entry skills
  • Proficient with database software, MS Word, and Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Advanced multi-tasking skills and ability to meet performance and service goals
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to work a schedule that includes days, evenings, and weekends

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • A college diploma in the health or social services field, or business/office administration
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and office administrative procedures
  • Knowledge of services provided by Ontario Health atHome
  • Ability to speak French or another second language
