Project Budgeting and Project Control:

  • Check overall validity of budget inputs.
  • Adjust budget based on change orders.
  • Track Cost Performance Indicator (CPI).

R&D and Project Management:

  • Prepare business cases for new engineering development projects.
  • Prepare Customer Quotes for new STC development work.
  • Monitor project progress and budget.

Contract Management:

  • Early involvement in the offer/proposal/sales phase.
  • Support sales and offer teams with technical advice.
  • Full ownership of contract from early in the process to completion.
  • Conduct (Pre-)Contract Review meetings with the Project Team.
  • Real-time and accurate tracking of contractual changes.

Education and Job Requirements:

  • University Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Project/Program Management Certification.

Experience and Skills:

  • 5 years of experience in aerospace project management, including aircraft completions, maintenance, and repair.
  • Knowledgeable in Transport Canada regulations.
  • Financial experience for budgeting purposes.
  • Technical experience to comprehend technical data packages.

Knowledge, Skills, and Demonstrated Capabilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Proactive in identifying risks and appropriate mitigations.
  • Able to take initiative.
  • Excellent organizational skills; able to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally when required.
  • Able to handle high-stress situations and maintain performance of daily activities.
