Our 500,000 sq ft build-to-print facility in Fort Erie specializes in manufacturing sheet-metal, machined, and composite parts and assemblies for major aerospace OEMs.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead Capex and industrialization projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. As the primary interface between the company and the client, you will oversee capital expenditure projects and the industrialization of production processes, focusing on resource allocation, procurement, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary customer interface, maintaining regular communication to meet client needs while adhering to company policies and requirements.
- Develop, prepare, and negotiate bids, project plans, schedules, and budgets to align with customer and company goals.
- Drive project objectives from initial planning through execution, ensuring targets are met.
- Integrate project master plans, specifications, and cost estimates into bid proposals and prepare for internal review.
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring alignment between technical and administrative aspects in collaboration with internal departments.
- Prepare operational directives for project implementation, evaluate customer requests, and manage changes or revisions in contracts.
- Monitor project conformance to contractual obligations, addressing and resolving any issues with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with peers on data and technical details to complete project requirements efficiently.
- Quote new work when required, ensuring response times align with client expectations.
- Adhere to company health and safety regulations, contributing to a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Completion of secondary education with at least two years of post-secondary study, or relevant experience in project management.
- Experience: Previous project management experience preferred, especially in capital expenditure or industrialization projects.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational abilities, self-motivated, and able to work under time constraints.
- Proficiency in managing Capex budgets and timelines effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface confidently with customers and internal teams.
