Job Description

As a Food Service Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the unit, providing direction to staff to ensure tasks are completed to deliver services and production at the expected level.
  • Coordinating scheduling of unit staff to ensure adequate coverage to deliver against expectations.
  • Managing costs to stay within unit budget.
  • Resolving requests, complaints, and concerns.
  • Monitoring unit's compliance with Quality Assurance and Health & Safety policies, and initiating corrective action as required.
  • Managing, coaching, and developing unit staff to achieve unit and team goals.

Requirements:

  • College diploma in hospitality or food service or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years' relevant experience within food service or hospitality industry.
  • Past experience with managing, supervising, coaching, and developing others.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic financial and budgeting skills.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
  • Proven organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
