Role overview: As a Sr. Quality Engineer with 'POS Testing & UI QE Skill-Sets with GCP Basics', the candidate should front-end the QE team (including Offshore) to handle the QE deliverables of a POD. This includes hands-on deliverables with JIRA stories assigned to the candidate, along with coordinating with offshore QEs to guide them on deliverables (when needed) and help resolve their 'Environment and Data' issues.

What you'll do:
  • Front-end the Quality Engineering (QE) team, including offshore resources, to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of QE outputs for assigned PODs.
  • Complete testing activities for Point of Sale (POS) systems and UI components, ensuring thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Manage and prioritize JIRA stories assigned to you, ensuring that all testing deliverables are completed as per the defined timelines and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with offshore QE teams, providing guidance and support on deliverables, and facilitating knowledge transfer to enhance overall team efficiency.
  • Proactively determine and resolve environment and data issues faced by the QE team, ensuring smooth testing processes and minimal disruptions.
What you bring to the role:

Required Skills (must have):

  • 8+ years of total experience with Quality Engineering/Assurance.
  • Strong experience with POS Testing.
  • 2+ years of UI Test automation development experience using Serenity BDD framework.
  • Has experience in GIT & JIRA, and working knowledge of Quality Assurance processes and Agile Development Methodologies.
Required Skills (nice to have):
  • Experience with the Retail domain is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge on one of the major Cloud platform (preferably GCP).
