About the Role
The Systems Engineering Member will be part of the System Architecture team in a multidisciplinary environment. The team contributes to the entire engineering lifecycle, from specification to deployment, maintenance, and field troubleshooting for large-scale, high-complexity naval platform systems.
- Collaborate on system design activities with senior systems engineering and other engineering staff, including supporting technical reviews
- Perform requirements analysis and traceability via the system model
- Review requirements, requirements allocation, and trade studies
- Perform system architecture modeling and design, including Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Develop automation for MBSE processes
- Manage and implement changes to the system design
- Design documentation
- Follow systems engineering processes and best practices
- Pursuing a degree in System Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Available for four to eight months, full-time
- Eligible for NATO Secret clearance
- Effective communication with technical and non-technical staff
- Aptitude for solving challenging problems in a team environment
- High degree of initiative and autonomy
- High learning ability
- Ability to adapt and perform in a dynamic environment
- Experience with Agile methods
- Programming knowledge: Java and/or Python
- Experience using Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
