Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Merchandise Sales Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a stocked and zoned sales floor, and assisting customers in meeting their shopping needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service
    • Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner
    • Assist customers by promoting products and services, locating merchandise, and making purchase decisions
    • Resolve customer issues and refer concerns where appropriate
  • Review and Manage Workload
    • Review workload for assigned area of the store
  • Merchandise and Stock Management
    • Work merchandise, cap bins, and stock picks to support the Customer Availability Process
    • Complete price changes and accurately sign merchandise
    • Print, set, and finalize modulars, set features, and merchandising areas
    • Complete section work, including modular integrity, PI, and shelf capacity errors
  • Recovery and Safety
    • Work recovery merchandise from the Customer Service desk and complete zoning tasks in assigned areas
    • Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment through adherence to company policy and procedures
  • Team Collaboration
    • Assist and support other task teams as needed to fulfill customer expectations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and be able to lift up to 25 kg. You will also need to be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
