Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Consumables Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a stocked and zoned sales floor, and assisting customers in meeting their shopping needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting with product inquiries, and resolving customer issues.
  • Review and manage workload for assigned areas of the store to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Work merchandise, cap bins, and stock picks to support the customer availability process.
  • Complete price changes and accurately sign merchandise to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Print, set, and finalize modulars, set features, and merchandising areas to maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • Complete section work, including modular integrity, price integrity, and shelf capacity errors, to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Work recovery merchandise from the customer service desk and complete zoning tasks in assigned areas to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Assist and support other task teams as needed to fulfill customer expectations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods.
