Job Title: Retirement Consulting Actuary

Join our team of experts in retirement and investment consulting and help global organizations design, manage, and administer retirement plans.

About the Role
  • Provide actuarial support on projects, including designing, funding, pricing, and implementing retirement programs
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking analysis of benefit plan designs
  • Work with clients on corporate restructuring and capital enhancement initiatives
  • Collaborate with a wide range of associates at all levels within the local practice
  • Perform asset/liability modeling and annual pension and post-retirement medical valuations
  • Assist with plan reporting and filing requirements, and perform plan administrative tasks
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement retirement programs that meet clients' specific goals
  • Conduct data analysis and provide recommendations to clients
  • Work with clients to determine the right approach to designing, funding, investing, governing, and employee management
  • Partner with consultants to provide actuarial support on projects
  • Perform asset/liability modeling and annual pension and post-retirement medical valuations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or a related field with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0
  • Progress towards ASA or ACIA designation through the SOA or CIA
  • Successful completion of one or more actuarial exams highly preferred
  • Work experience that demonstrates strong technical and/or client service skills
  • Passion for solving problems and sharing solutions to exceed client standards
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a close team environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
