About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Operations Planner to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing demand and supply plans to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of our products to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Analyze Demand Plans

Develop and analyze 12-18 month demand plans to ensure accurate forecasting and supply chain optimization.

Capacity Analysis and Planning

Conduct capacity analysis and develop plans to ensure adequate supply chain capacity to meet customer demand.

Supply Chain Optimization

Identify and implement opportunities to optimize supply chain processes and reduce costs.

Collaboration and Communication

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment on supply chain plans and initiatives.

Performance Metrics and Reporting

Track and report key performance metrics to measure supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements
  • Education

College or technical school diploma in Materials Management, Supply Chain, or related business field.

Experience

5 years of experience in manufacturing, planning, or scheduling using SAP or equivalent business planning tools.

Certifications

Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM/APICS) CPIM/CSCP or similar certification preferred.
