Meat Associate

As a Meat Associate at Walmart Canada, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of product quality and safety in the meat department.
Key Responsibilities- Zoning the department to maintain a clean and organized environment
- Rotating stock and checking for expired products to ensure freshness and quality
- Ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced to meet customer expectations
- Adhering to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates
- Taking orders for Deli Department merchandise and preparing sliced meats, cheeses, and other products
- Following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels
- Preparing deli food orders, meat, cheese, and utilizing slicers, stackers, and other utensils
- Following Health and Safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $17.85. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
