About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical advice and guidance to healthcare professionals and patients on medication management and treatment options.
  • Conduct thorough medication reviews and assessments to identify potential issues and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based practices and policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in pharmacy practice and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
  • Current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Pharmacists.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
