Our Project Management team is looking for a Project Manager to join us in Halifax.

What You Get To Do

  • Manage the development of project plans, schedules and budgets.
  • Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
  • Monitor change management processes and workflows.
  • Attend all required meetings including working groups, design coordination, and governance meetings.
  • Prepare meeting packages including agendas, minutes, action logs and decision items.
  • Ensure project deadlines are met through clear communication and follow-up on project plans, schedules and action items.
  • Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Manage stakeholder views towards the best solution.
  • Mentor junior and intermediate level team members while actively participating and leading team meetings.
  • Prepare the technical components and fees for proposals.
  • Network occasionally to promote the business, cross-sell, and build new contacts and enhance client relationships.
What You'll Bring

  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
  • University Degree or equivalent in Construction Project Management, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Architectural or Electrical Engineering, Estimating.
  • Experience in infrastructure, residential, and/or transportation projects is required.
  • Experience acting as Owner’s Representative is considered a strong asset.
  • Working towards or obtained a relevant professional qualification: PMP and/or P.Eng.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs, including MS Project.
  • An understanding of project delivery models, including construction management and design-bid-build.
  • Experience managing projects through design, procurement, and construction.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills combined with sound judgment and initiative.
  • Responsive to internal and external stakeholder requests.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational, communication and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take initiative.
  • Attention to detail to produce quality work with good time management.
  • Eligible to work in Canada or pursuing a work permit.
  • Hold a valid driver's license.
