Job Description:

On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for a Project Coordinator to work on the SAP Modernization Program, which is currently executing the Financial & Logistical Systems (FLS) Project. That will result in implementing a single instance of a S/4Hana environment for the financial and logistical systems for NSH/IWK, NSRCEs/CSAP, and the Province.

Responsibilities:

  1. Acts as a conduit and triage for PMO inquiries from Program team members.
  2. Creates and maintains PMO dashboards and reports where required, including tracking of project deliverables.
  3. Supports the maintenance of the project resource plans.
  4. Supports the maintenance of the Program RAID log (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions).
  5. Captures and distributes meeting notes, minutes, and action items and flagged items for follow-up.
  6. Ensure content and structure of all PMO documents/artifacts are documented and well maintained.
  7. Escalate issues to PMO Pillar Lead as required.
  8. Creates work products using the MS Office suite of products including Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Word.
  9. Other assigned program coordination duties and deliverables, as required.
  10. Providing the PMO Pillar Leads with:
    1. Regular status reports
    2. Risk and issue details to be managed and mitigated.
  11. Adhering to SAP SM Division policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Project Coordinator, Senior Administrative Assistant, or equivalent and/or comparable role.
  • Experience supporting the following project activities:
    • Project management and coordination
    • Presentation and report development
    • Maintaining a project schedule
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage in collaborative work with a variety of stakeholders and team members.
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office suite of products Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Provides superior organizational skills, is a self-starter, quick learner, forward-thinking, and takes initiative.
  • Effective when collaborating as part of a team and working independently.

Desired qualifications:

  • Professional Project, Administrative or Business certificate.
  • Experience supporting project management activities in a public sector environment.
  • Experience working in a project environment.
  • Experience supporting a technical implementation including, SAP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software solutions.

Required skills (Mandatory)
