Our public sector client is looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects


1 year contract, Hybrid (2 days a week), Vancouver


Must Have

  • 10+ years experience as a Technical Project Manager
  • Strong reporting skills in Power BI
  • Experience implementing and configuring CRM systems, will consider technical transformations, software development or infrastructure projects experience
  • Strong technical background that may include knowledge of programming languages, databases, software development methodologies, or system integration. Should be able to understand and communicate with technical stakeholders effectively.


Nice to Have

  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP or PRINCE2).
  • Strong understanding of healthcare industry regulations and compliance requirements, with a proven track record of ensuring technical solutions align with these standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance experience with proven track record of successfully navigating complex regulatory environments, collaborating with legal teams, and ensuring that all functional and technical requirements meet regulatory compliance.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of technical projects, from initiation to closure.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget.
  • Coordinate and communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and control project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Mitigate risks and resolve issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
