Summary of the Role: The Russell Health Collective is seeking a physiotherapist to start working early to mid October. This position offers a full caseload with flexible hours, including 1-hour assessments and 30-minute follow-up sessions in a closed room setting. Our clinic operates within a multidisciplinary framework alongside a chiropractor and massage therapist, facilitating regular collaboration and monthly meetings. We utilize the Jane booking system for efficient scheduling, payment and charting. New graduates are welcome, with the opportunity for shadowing provided if needed.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive 1-hour assessments to evaluate patients' physical conditions.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Provide 30-minute follow-up sessions to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records systems.
  • Collaborate effectively with chiropractors and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Communicate clearly with patients to educate them on treatment plans and progress.


Qualifications:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy and current provincial licensure.
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise in physiotherapy assessment and treatment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.


Success in the Position: Success in this role involves seamlessly integrating into our clinic's workflow, delivering high-quality patient care, and contributing to the collaborative environment with chiropractor and massage therapist. The temporary nature of the position spans a minimum of 10 months, with potential for continued employment post-maternity leave.
