Position Overview - Administrative Assistant for Real Estate & Franchised Restaurant Development

The Admin Assistant for Real Estate & Franchised Restaurant Development is responsible for assisting with all aspects of real estate management and franchise documents for new restaurant developments, renewals, and renovations of existing sites and future developments for Edo Japan.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Vice President of Real Estate & Restaurant Development and will plan, process, monitor, track, follow up and review all real estate and associated franchising documents pertaining to development, license & lease renewals, and renovations of existing units.

The ideal candidate will work collaboratively as part of a team with the goal of completing seamless and timely processes in the service of our franchisees.

The role starts as a part-time opportunity with the potential to expand into a full-time permanent role with possible advancement opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting real estate, leasing, and franchise documents for restaurant construction projects, renewals, renovations, and conversion projects
  • Utilizing administrative documents & tools utilized within the real estate, leasing, and franchise document processes
  • Process franchisee renewals, transfers, and sale/share agreement documents
  • Process tenant & landlord documents pertaining to leasing arrangements
  • Collaborate on real estate site development analysis tools
  • Assist in maintenance of all real estate & restaurant development tracking & management tools
  • Process franchise license documents
  • Liaising with various internal contacts including Design and Construction, Restaurant Operations, Franchising, Real Estate, and Legal Departments to ensure projects are completed as per plan. Liaising with Franchises


Background Experience and Education:

  • Advanced organization skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Franchise license document experience
