Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our clients large & dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have their CPA, be proficient in financial reporting, and have extensive experience with GAAP and ASPE standards. This role is hybrid and located in Burlington.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP and ASPE
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filings

Qualifications:

  • CPA designation is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and ASPE
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in accounting software (Dynamics) and MS Office Suite
