Role: Operations Analyst

Location Options: Hybrid - Atlanta - GreenSky Headquarters

Overview: This role is a part of the Operations Analytics and Business Transformation team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical support for business operations and create strategic or tactical recommendations to improve business performance and drive efficiency.
  • Perform root cause analysis of changing trends to identify performance drivers.
  • Conduct quantitative analysis and analyze large volumes of data to identify operational performance trends.
  • Present findings to senior management. Clearly and concisely communicate analysis results through effective written and verbal communication.
  • Develop dashboard reports to monitor business performance.
  • Manage volume and forecast metrics to deliver on long term staffing needs for Operations, aligned with forecasted business growth.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.
  • Ability to handle large datasets using SQL, R, Python, or another similar programming language.
  • Working knowledge in Tableau.
  • Strong problem solving, decision making, and analytical abilities.
  • Flexibility, perseverance, and ability to thrive in a rapidly-changing, fast-paced, and demanding environment.
  • Skilled communicator with ability to influence others.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a relevant analytical/quantitative role.
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.
  • Experience within financial services organization.
  • Passionate about using data and analytics to solve problems and eager to learn about financial services and consumer lending.
