One of our banking clients is seeking a Business Systems Analyst for 6-month contract in Toronto.


Duration: 6 Months

Potential for this contract to be extended or converted to FTE? Potential to extend based on funding and candidate performance. Not much potential for conversion.

Hybrid - In office on Thursdays and 4th Friday. Might move to 2 days per week every week.


Job Description:

· Experience in business systems analyst role handling user stories, documentation, requirements gathering. MUST have previous Financial Institution experience. You have experience working within an Agile environment as a member of a technology team responsible for supporting applications.

· Strong SQL and Microsoft Tools skillset · Strong asset to have Capital Markets and Azure Cloud experience. Strong preference for FX experience.

· Must be able to work independently or within a small team.

· Support end-to-end project implementation and act as a subject matter expert in both business and technology.

· Ideate and collaborate with a diverse team to create and set up flexible, innovative solutions that deliver a best-in-class client experience.

· Collaborate with business users and other stakeholders to understand their challenges with current processes, assess impact and determine solutions.

· Collaborate closely with subject matter experts and technology partners to capture and translate inputs and business logic into successful business outputs.

· Contribute to project management activities such as scoping and estimating project efforts, identifying risks, recommending mitigation measures and proactively communicating/escalating possible issues.



Must Have Requirement:

• 7+ Years' experience as a BSA ideally within Capital Markets with FX.

• Financial institution/banking experience

• SQL/JIRA/Confluence

• Microsoft tools

• Previous agile experience

- FX

- Capital markets

- Cloud Azure

- VBA scripts

- Linux/Unix experience
