As a member of the NSCSC Industry Services Team, the Communications Coordinator will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling communications and marketing content for both the NSCSC and its affiliated organizations, with a focus on digital platforms.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate in the creation of impactful social media posts, press releases, announcements, profiles, official internal and external communications, and marketing materials.
  2. Contribute to the development and execution of communication plans, brand strategies, and promotional campaigns.
  3. Manage editorial calendars and streamline content development workflows.
  4. Conduct research to inform strategic communications planning.
  5. Monitor media activity and disseminate relevant content to the NSCSC team and partners.
  6. Assist in the creation and editing of reports.
  7. Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing and communication efforts.
  8. Provide support in other areas of industry service, such as event planning and management.

Qualifications:

  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Customer-focused mindset, adept at building and nurturing relationships with industry and media partners.
  3. Previous experience managing social media in a professional setting.
  4. Strong creative and professional writing abilities.
  5. Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  6. Proficient in critical thinking and problem-solving.
  7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  9. Education in Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, Communications, or related field, or relevant work experience.
  10. Valid driver's license and access to transportation.

Work Environment:

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
