Position Overview

Reporting to the Manager, IT Infrastructure, this position will provide support to end users across the organization.


What You Will Do

  1. Utilize a help desk system to provide support to end-users: researching, troubleshooting issues, and documenting.
  2. Own customer technical issues from initial report to resolution, communicating with customers regularly regarding issue status.
  3. Triage and coordinate complex cases.
  4. Support the development and execution of IT projects.
  5. Install and maintain computer equipment and peripheral hardware and software.
  6. Monitor systems performance and respond to issues.
  7. Provide on-call and after hours support for outages and maintenance.
  8. Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring

  1. 3+ years' experience in help desk, IT support, or its equivalent.
  2. Strong self-motivation with a passion for IT.
  3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  4. Strong customer service skills.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Ability to conduct research into a wide range of tech support issues.
  7. Experience supporting and administering Windows 11 and Office 365.
  8. Experience with virtualization platforms including VMware.
  9. Experience with back-up systems.
  10. Experience with an assortment of back-up hardware including tape drives, USB drives, and Disk-to-disk systems.
  11. Experience with networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, subnetting, and other networking concepts.
  12. Practical knowledge of workstation management and troubleshooting.
  13. Experience with networking hardware.
  14. Experience with installing, configuring, administering and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory.
  15. Basic understanding of PowerShell.
  16. Experience with troubleshooting and supporting mobile devices.
  17. Experience with troubleshooting printers, scanners, and various other peripherals.
  18. Ability to install, configure, administer and troubleshoot a wide range of desktop hardware and software.
