Human Resources Manager

Are you interested in working for a well-established and growing Canadian company? Our client is a successful company located in the Grimsby area, with an immediate opportunity for an HR Manager. This position is performed 100% on site. The HR Manager will be a standalone role, thus will have a wide range of responsibilities and opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling all Human Resources functions for over 80 employees
  • Monitor, facilitate, and complete all full cycle recruitment needs for the company
  • Review and approve payroll as well as maintain benefit packages for the employee group
  • Handle WSIB claims from initial steps until case completion
  • Direct and represent management in various company Health & Safety programs
  • Liaise between employees and employers to help resolve internal conflicts
  • Give direction and guidance to management with respect to performance evaluations, succession plans, employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and terminations

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in an HR Manager role
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry required
  • CHRP/CHRL designation or in process, preferred
  • Self-motivated
  • A champion in being the intermediary between employee and employer relations
