Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Manager, Human Resources, the Human Resources Advisor provides generalist support in all areas of Human Resources and Organizational Development as part of the employee experience. The HR Advisor will use their skills to develop collaborative and productive relationships with managers, colleagues, and employees. This position requires a dynamic individual who enjoys a variety of task-based responsibilities, yet is able to thrive within a people-focused environment.

As an example, they will be one of the first people that new employees will meet during their orientation to the Hospital. Their energy, pride, and professionalism during new hire orientation will help set the tone of the employee experience and ultimately patient experience. This individual will be someone who does not accept the status quo and has the vision to take an existing process or task and make it better. They will be expected to generate their own amazing ideas that will build and nurture a workplace where employees and teams can thrive.

Employment Requirements Education/Experience:
  1. Post secondary education in Human Resources discipline
  2. Must have minimum 2 years experience working as part of a Human Resources team
  3. Experience using a computerized human resources/payroll system and reporting software preferred
Skills/Abilities:
  1. Must be proficient in keyboarding and the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, and calendar scheduling
  2. Must possess superior interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to function as an effective team player
  3. Demonstrated excellence with attention to detail, time management, critical thinking, and customer service
  4. Excellent organizational, analytical, verbal, and written communication
  5. Ability to work in a confidential setting independently
  6. Ability to proactively problem solve
  7. Ability to handle multiple assignments, prioritize activities in a fast-paced organization
  8. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders and employees
Assets:
  1. As a designated French Language Facility, bilingual (French/English) communication skills are an asset
  2. HRIS and data analytics experience
Salary Range

$38.815 to $45.664

Employment Conditions
