We are looking for a Kaizen and Process Improvement Specialist to join our team.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the integration of the KAIZEN Production System in production areas.
  • Responsible to analyze processes and to optimize workflows.
  • Coach and implement continuous improvement and productivity projects.
  • Identify areas of improvement and providing detailed recommendations for process changes and procedural documentation necessities.
  • Guide and support the implementation of management approved recommended measures and initiatives (Policy Deployment), document the workflow (Value Stream Mapping) and follow-up on the workflow to ensure the expected efficiencies are realized.
  • Implement and provide support of KAIZEN and 5S methodology in all areas of production and machine centers.
  • Coordinate and work together with Supervisors, Production and Efficiency Managers and the Operations Manager.
  • Ensure a presence on the shop floor.
  • Establish a common understanding and culture of continuous improvement and structured problem-solving.
  • Standardize our Operational Excellence Solution (Kaizen Production System) based on LEAN and EFQM.
  • Develop and implement suggestions, concepts and strategies for process optimization such as digitalization, Industry 4.0, artificial intelligence and virtual reality.
  • Carrying out audits to determine the level of maturity as the basis for our development.
  • Value creation systems and cross-interface processes.
  • Support the implementation of new solutions and adapted structures based on quality, efficiency, methodology and precise communication.
  • System analysis and development, management of international improvement projects and ensuring the implementation of sustainable customer and company-relevant results.
  • Preparation of high-quality and professional management presentations and detailed documentation of workshops and interviews.
  • Promoting knowledge sharing within and outside the organization.


Your skills:

  • Bachelor degree in engineering or industrial engineering or equivalent and/or 3+ years experience in implementation KAIZEN and Lean/6 Sigma.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a production environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of LEAN methods, the EFQM model, digitalization and Industry 4.0 as well an in-depth knowledge and experience in implementing operational excellence projects.
  • Proven successes in consulting and implementing operational excellence projects as well as subsequent implementation/improvement process.
  • Certification in the areas of LEAN, EFQM Excellence Model and Industry 4.0 would be considered an asset.
  • Strong team, communication and presentation skills in an international environment.
  • Hands-on person ready to spend most of the time on the shop floor where value-added is provided coordinating the implementation of the KAIZEN approach.
