Job Summary:

The Inside Sales Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the inside sales and applications teams, ensuring they meet sales goals, provide exceptional customer service, and deliver accurate quotations. This role includes developing sales strategies, supporting team members, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The Inside Sales Supervisor will also manage daily activities, ensuring that the team operates efficiently and effectively to meet order and quotation deadlines.


Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead and supervise the inside sales and applications teams, ensuring alignment with company sales goals and providing ongoing support and guidance.

• Sales Strategy Implementation: Work with management to develop and implement sales plans, focusing on achieving predetermined sales quotas and expanding the customer base.

• Customer Support: Support inside sales efforts by joining customer meetings, providing pricing and delivery information, and ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries.

• Project Support: Collaborate with the projects team to support custom and large-scale orders, ensuring accuracy in quotations and effective coordination with other departments.

• Training and Development: Provide training to the inside sales and applications teams, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed.

• Client Relationship Management: Maintain and develop strong relationships with key customers, focusing on long-term customer retention and business growth.

• Quotation Management: Review customer quotes for accuracy, ensuring that pricing, delivery schedules, and other details align with customer needs and company capabilities.

• Contract Negotiation: Engage in contract renewals, price negotiations, and volume discount discussions to retain customers and drive continued business.

• Team Performance: Supervise the daily activities of the inside sales and quotations groups, including hiring, performance reviews, and task assignment to meet deadlines and achieve sales goals.

• Customer Needs Assessment: Assess customer needs and present the features and benefits of the company’s products and services to both existing and new customers.

• Operational Efficiency: Ensure that all processes and workflows within the inside sales team are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness, meeting order processing and customer service standards.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field and/or minimum of 5 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related field within the motors, controls, or industrial products industry.

• Proven experience in managing and developing a sales team, with a focus on achieving sales targets.

• Strong knowledge of electric motors, controls, and related products.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Experience with ERP systems and sales management software.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
