Senior Manager Financial Reporting

Our client is seeking a Senior Manager, Reporting & FP&A to join their expanding team. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the Senior Manager will be integral in overseeing the financial reporting and financial planning & analysis functions within the organization. This role demands a strategic thinker with robust analytical skills and the capacity to deliver valuable insights to senior management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Develop and implement effective financial reporting systems and controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance reporting capabilities
- Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to senior management, facilitating informed decision-making
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting processes and practices
Qualifications:
- CPA designation
- Proven experience in financial reporting, preferably in a managerial role
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices in financial reporting
