Job Description

As a System Reliability Specialist, you will be responsible for helping all IT teams to implement the necessary mechanisms to improve and maintain the highest standards of resilience and availability of IT services.

Your Job Responsibilities
  1. Promote resiliency and stability best practices among application and infrastructure teams.
  2. Understand the main flows of our critical environments to detect single points of failure.
  3. Support IT teams to improve their documentation and architecture diagram to include resilience and stability information.
  4. Be able to perform application development and automate as needed.
  5. Promote and increase the automation of IT tasks to reduce human error.
  6. End-to-end stability analysis and recommendations to improve system performance and resiliency.
  7. Promote good monitoring practices and support IT teams in the implementation of key indicators of resilience and stability.
  8. Support IT teams following major events impacting the resilience of their systems.
Your Team

This position reports to the Senior Director, Asset Management under the IT Delivery/Payment Operations, Cards and Regulatory Projects sector. As part of an experienced team dedicated to the transformation of the Cards and Payment field, you will contribute to projects in a team composed of project managers, business analysts, and quality assurance.

You can access personalized training content on such topics as banking solutions and the advisory approach to support your ongoing learning. You’ll also have access to colleagues with a wide range of expertise, experience, and backgrounds to enrich all aspects of your development.

Basic Requirements
  1. At least 10 years of expertise in the development/maintenance of online services.
  2. Expertise in software design of complex systems supporting thousands of competing clients.
  3. At least 10 years of expertise in a complex environment composed of new and old technologies (Legacy).
  4. Excellent understanding of DevSecOPS, monitoring, and observability principles.
  5. Knowledge of the various MongoDB, Redis, and SQL database technologies.
  6. Experience with AWS cloud technology (service development, deployment, automation, and operations).
  7. Experience in infra capacity analysis (CPU, Memory, Latency, IO, Bandwidth etc).
  8. Experience in a technology leadership position.
  9. 24/7 operational experience.
  10. Experience in load testing and analysis.
  11. Great ability to solve complex multi-system problems.
  12. Experience in multiple programming languages.
