ABOUT THE ROLE:
Are you passionate about Brand Education and want to make an impact in the world of beauty? Join us as a Category & Brand Operations Manager where you will use your expertise to craft product and category perspectives across content, education materials, videos, and digital content for Sephora's hair and fragrance categories We're on the lookout for a passionate expert who will foster positive relationships with brands to develop training and education content for our Beauty Advisors (BAs). You will help bring our initiatives to life in our stores by engaging and inspiring our people and supporting the ongoing optimization of our programs and processes.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  1. Partner closely with brands to deliver strategies for education, visit cycles, digital libraries, gratis, etc.
  2. Support brands to improve BA engagement levels through in-store training and new store openings based on feedback and results.
  3. Collaborate with department partners to drive category strategies and organizational initiatives.
  4. Track and optimize content effectiveness within training programs in collaboration with corporate and field-based partners.
  5. Coordinate with support teams on instructional design, production, and delivery of curriculums.
  6. Support brand operation programs to build efficient processes that serve stores and brands.
  7. Communicate learning goals for Sephora-created content while identifying program gaps for comprehensive training.
  8. Propose and implement innovative learning solutions to address organization needs related to the category.
  9. Enhance Brand Partner Resources to maintain a central filing system for brand information while providing regular feedback to brand partners.
  10. Act as an on-camera spokesperson in Sephora-created videos and lead teams or contractors for content creation while supporting the development of operations content.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
  1. You have 5-7 years of expertise in retail operations, education or brand management specializing in optimization and change management planning.
  2. Skilled with linking product and category expertise within a retail setting and have experience identifying content needs for a variety of audiences and expertise levels.
  3. You have fundamental category experience and ability to identify level of category expertise in others.
  4. You have an entrepreneurial spirit, thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and relish in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  5. You have mastered the art of crafting, implementing, and tracking impactful educational programs.
  6. Great at expressing yourself clearly and creatively both verbally and in writing.
  7. You pay high attention to detail while leading and balancing multiple projects, prioritizing integrity and accuracy in your craft.
  8. You are technically savvy and are proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Zoom, and project management tools (Smartsheet, Box, etc.).
  9. You take initiative and build positive relationships while staying informed on industry trends and training practices in retail, beauty, and social spaces.
  10. You're game for travel
