Overview:

Under the direction of the Sales Director - LATAM, the Sales Manager – LATAM is responsible for the delivery and maintenance sales and initiatives that support the effectiveness and productivity of the sales team.

Interact directly with distributors, related to professional (or eventually retail) channel consumption, educators, logistics teams, customer service, finance and marketing in the region, seeking to guarantee and maximize the development potential of our brand in the LATAM territory.

Responsible for the implementation and execution of key commercial strategies. Such strategies should be aligned with the objectives of the division, Moroccanoil brand positioning criteria and adapted to the local needs of the LATAM markets to successfully support the sales, growth and profitability objectives of our businesses in LATAM territories.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Understand and represent the Moroccanoil brand messaging and image to support all facets of the business.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate distributors DSC’s to meet or exceed sales targets based on the potential of each Latam territory.
  • Conduct regular training to DSC’s, provide feedback, and implement programs to improve team skills.
  • Maximizes Key Performance Indicators by distributor and, even further in-depth, by sales.
  • Able to influence in an indirect sales environment and maximize negotiations with salons owners.
  • Collaborate with distributors teams (Sales, Education, MKTG) to reinforce strategies to ensure the goals of each country are achieved based on business opportunities in the territory.
  • Review with Sales Director net shipping sales by account and retailer to ensure the achievement net sales targets are achieved.
  • Manage on-hand inventory expectations per territory and communicate with Sales Director to ensure that the brand adheres to the Moroccanoil brand guidelines while maintaining optimal stock situations.
  • Visit accounts within said territories on a monthly or quarterly call cycle depending on the overall needs of the business.
  • During territory visits, ensure each account adheres to the Moroccanoil merchandising brand guidelines.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients (salon owners and stylists)
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate to Sales Director competitive information when and where applicable.
  • Communicate with the Sales Director about all business needs when applicable.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, Education, PR, Digital to ensure alignment with overall business strategies.
  • Submitting all required internal forms in a timely manner (Schedule Travel via Egencia, Submit Expense Reports via Certify, PRFs)
  • Special projects (to be reviewed as needed and for the overall needs of the business)
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time.

Skills & Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or min of 3 years industry experience working with premium beauty brands and or retailers related to beauty industry (Preferable professional beauty)
  • Ability to lead and inspire a sales team to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Skilled in negotiating contracts and closing deals.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and financial reports.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) – Portugues is a plus.
  • Prior Account Coordinator experience preferred but not required
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred

Tâches et responsabilités:

  • Comprendre et représenter le message et l'image de la marque Moroccanoil pour soutenir tous les aspects de l'entreprise.
  • Développer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies de vente pour atteindre les objectifs de l'entreprise.
  • Diriger, encadrer et motiver les distributeurs DSC afin de répondre ou dépasser les objectifs de vente en fonction du potentiel de chaque territoire LATAM.
  • Effectuer des formations régulières pour les DSC, fournir des retours et mettre en œuvre des programmes pour améliorer les compétences de l'équipe.
  • Optimiser les indicateurs clés de performance par distributeur et, encore plus en profondeur, par ventes.
  • Capable d'influencer dans un environnement de vente indirecte et maximiser les négociations avec les propriétaires de salons.
  • Collaborer avec les équipes des distributeurs (ventes, éducation, marketing) pour renforcer les stratégies et garantir que les objectifs de chaque pays sont atteints en fonction des opportunités commerciales dans le territoire.
  • Revoir avec le Directeur des Ventes les ventes nettes expédiées par compte et par détaillant pour s'assurer que les objectifs de ventes nettes sont atteints.
  • Gérer les attentes en matière d'inventaire disponible par territoire et communiquer avec le Directeur des Ventes pour s'assurer que la marque adhère aux directives de la marque Moroccanoil tout en maintenant des situations de stock optimales.
  • Visiter les comptes dans les territoires mentionnés sur une base mensuelle ou trimestrielle selon les besoins globaux de l'entreprise.
  • Lors des visites de territoire, s'assurer que chaque compte adhère aux directives de la marque Moroccanoil en matière de marchandisage.
  • Maintenir de solides relations avec les clients clés (propriétaires de salons et stylistes).
  • Répondre aux demandes des clients et résoudre les problèmes rapidement pour assurer une satisfaction élevée des clients.
  • Communiquer au Directeur des Ventes les informations concurrentielles lorsque cela est applicable.
  • Communiquer avec le Directeur des Ventes sur tous les besoins commerciaux lorsque cela est applicable.
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec d'autres départements, tels que le marketing, l'éducation, les relations publiques, le digital pour assurer l'alignement avec les stratégies commerciales globales.
  • Soumettre tous les formulaires internes requis en temps opportun (Planifier les voyages via Egencia, Soumettre les rapports de dépenses via Certify, PRFs).
  • Projets spéciaux (à réviser selon les besoins et pour les besoins globaux de l'entreprise).
  • Capacité à voyager 50% du temps.

Compétences et aptitudes

  • Diplôme universitaire et/ou minimum de 3 ans d'expérience dans l'industrie avec des marques de beauté premium et/ou des détaillants liés à l'industrie de la beauté (de préférence beauté professionnelle).
  • Capacité à diriger et inspirer une équipe de vente pour atteindre des objectifs ambitieux.
  • Compétence en négociation de contrats et en conclusion d'affaires.
  • Capacité à analyser les données de vente, les tendances du marché et les rapports financiers.
  • Bilingue (Espagnol/Anglais) – Le portugais est un atout. • Expérience préalable en tant que coordinateur de compte préférée mais non requise.
  • Maîtrise de la suite MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) préférée.
