The Project Team Supervisor will coordinate, manage project timelines, and track project deliverables using appropriate tools while managing a team of Project Managers.

  • Supervise a project team across a regional territory (Ontario)
  • Assist in the development, monitor and completion of training and development plans
  • Participate in the hiring process
  • Conduct employee goal and performance management activities and HR issues resolution
  • Lead the project team to manage and execute projects from order acceptance to completion
  • Manage resource allocation and day-to-day operational aspects
  • Provide direction & support to the project team
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Ensure project deliverables meet the company’s quality standards and contract requirements
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
  • Facilitate team and client meetings effectively
  • Develop relationships with client/consultant personnel that foster long-term business ties
  • Follow up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices
  • Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • 3 years’ supervisory experience in a project environment (preferred)
  • Proven project management experience of 5-10 years in the electrical industry (preferred)
  • Certification in Project Management (CAPM) or PMP would be an asset
  • CET or equivalent Electrical education/experience (preferred)
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are required
  • Ability to plan and organize effectively and has strong decision-making skills
  • Effective communication, facilitation, and strong negotiation skills
  • Must be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Salesforce (bFO) (asset)
  • Ability to travel (15%)
