Job Description

As an IT integration project manager, you are responsible for overseeing, coordinating and supporting IT monitoring for project execution, development initiatives and planned maintenance activities under the responsibility of the IT delivery office of the Property and Casualty Insurance IT Division. You work closely with IT agents and project managers to ensure continuous monitoring of the overall plan. More specifically, you will be required to:

  1. Ensure the implementation of monitoring and reporting mechanisms for the IT Implementation Plan specific to the Property and Casualty Insurance IT Division.
  2. Support application delivery managers with project management practices.
  3. Develop and propose templates and support tools. Provide guidance to the people involved.
  4. Oversee updates to the IT Implementation Plan and report on it.
  5. Monitor the execution of IT initiatives and planned maintenance activities.
  6. Coordinate the process for changing phases.
  7. Consolidate the overall IT roadmap.
  8. Support the overall planning and management of interdependencies.
  9. Help IT agents make decisions and resolve IT roadblocks and issues.
  10. Ensure compliance with the project management processes established by the Desjardins Group Project Management Office.
