Job Description - Manager, Commercial Sales (240000FS)

General Summary: The Commercial Sales Manager (CSM) is responsible for the overall success of HCA’s commercial sales efforts to support Hyundai, Genesis, and Kia. The CSM will lead the commercial sales endeavors achieving growth and profitability objectives and will work closely with OEM partners, HCA’s insurance, and retail field staff to facilitate commercial financing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Pursue commercial opportunities (FP, RE, WC, LOC’s).
  2. Maintain and report commercial pipeline to Commercial Director.
  3. Lead role in supporting KIA, Hyundai, and Genesis commercial activities.
  4. Manage the relationship between home office and OEM stakeholders.
  5. Utilize sales tools to prepare credit submittals to commercial credit.
  6. Submit complete credit files for approval to commercial credit.
  7. Create atmosphere of teamwork between multiple organizations and stakeholders.
  8. Collect intel and present wholesale presentation packages.
  9. Be the commercial gatekeeper and liaison for CVF and mobility business.
  10. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Financial Statement analysis
  • Problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Strong negotiation and leadership skills
  • Documented sales success
  • Commercial aptitude
  • Solid organization and interpersonal skill set
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word applications
  • Familiarity with automotive or Class 8 truck dealer operations

Qualifications:

  • Prior captive finance experience or Fleet Management experience
  • At least 5 years commercial experience
  • Prior supervisory or management experience
  • Recommended to have prior small business analyst, or Fleet Credit Analyst, or Dealer credit experience
  • At least 5 years B2B experience
  • Documented history of increasing responsibility in prior work experience
  • Ability to articulate prior CRM ability

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking, vision to monitor, and moderate noise levels.
  • Work is performed in an office environment.
  • Must be willing to travel 70%+.
  • Overnight travel may be required.
  • When not traveling, working from OEM offices at least 25% on non-travel days.
