Our client is seeking to hire a dynamic and results-driven Leasing Manager to join their team in managing a high-rise condominium in Ottawa. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in lease management, ensuring efficient tenant turnover, maintaining occupancy levels, and contributing to the overall success of the property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the leasing operations of the high-rise condominium, ensuring all units are efficiently leased and maintained according to company standards.
  • Foster positive relationships with tenants, addressing their concerns promptly and ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract prospective tenants, including online advertising, social media campaigns, and partnerships with local businesses.
  • Conduct lease negotiations with potential tenants, ensuring terms are favorable to the condominium while meeting market standards.
  • Implement thorough screening processes for prospective tenants, including background checks and credit evaluations, to maintain the quality of residents.
  • Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure units are properly maintained and any issues are promptly addressed to maintain high standards for current and prospective tenants.
  • Manage leasing budgets effectively, optimizing spending to achieve leasing goals while maintaining profitability.
  • Supervise leasing agents and administrative staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure team success and adherence to company policies.
  • Prepare regular reports on leasing activity, vacancy rates, and financial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement to senior management.
  • Stay updated on relevant landlord-tenant laws and ensure leasing activities comply with all legal requirements and regulations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in leasing management, property management, or real estate, with at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close leasing deals effectively and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with tenants and lead team members.
  • Knowledge of landlord-tenant laws and regulations, with a keen eye for detail and commitment to legal compliance.
