Aramark Canada Ltd. is currently seeking an outgoing, professional to join the Dalhousie Food Services team as a Driver. Reporting to the Vending Manager, the Driver will be responsible for delivering orders, delivering paperwork to office, and assisting in the transfer of products between locations.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers and clients.
- Coordinate with management team on daily paperwork deliveries.
- Support other departments during downtime.
- Coordinate with vending manager on projects for downtime if required.
- Support the transfer of goods between locations.
- Complete Bake Shop deliveries to locations.
- Respond to any customer questions or concerns at time of delivery.
- Adhere to all Aramark policies and procedures, including occupational health and safety and food safety.
- Perform general preventative maintenance on vehicle (driver's checklist).
- Maintain safe and structured driving patterns in accordance with provincial law.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in driving position considered an asset.
- Familiarity with Dalhousie campus considered an asset.
- Ability to follow daily schedule.
- Must have valid driver's license.
- Must maintain neat and professional appearance at all times.
- Must be able to see without impairment for inspection purposes and ability to read small text such as product warning labels.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 45 lbs.
