As we grow our business with new service offerings and expanded geographies, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Human Resources in Calgary, Alberta to lead the development and implementation of our workforce strategies.
What You Get to Do:Business Leadership:
- Collaborate with the President of ATCO Frontec and our senior leadership team to develop and implement workforce strategies for new and existing lines of business
- Lead a high-volume recruitment practice that sources and hires upwards of 300 employees annually
- Provide HR subject matter expertise during new business development including proposal creation and RFP responses
- Provide HR coaching and guidance to the leadership team with a focus on talent development, employee engagement and retention
People Leadership:
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative and trusted relationships with the leadership team, operations management teams, and employees across the organization
- Lead and mentor a high performance team of HR Business Partners and Recruitment Advisors to ensure agile delivery especially during new project mobilizations
Human Resources Leadership:
- Develop and manage innovative recruitment practices and procedures that improve employee attraction and retention
- Oversee labour and employee relations for the business unit including leading investigations as required
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in HR roles, preferably in industrial or project-oriented business sectors
- Experience working with the Camp Services and/or Facilities Maintenance industry is an advantage
- 7+ years of leadership experience with a team of direct reports
- Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit
- Demonstrated success in managing projects and continuous process improvement
- High-energy, fast-paced working environment coupled with a culture based on caring, integrity, agility, collaboration, and striving for excellence
