About the Position:

Reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing, the Paid Ads Specialist will be instrumental in driving our digital advertising efforts. This role requires a hands-on approach to creating, managing, and optimizing paid campaigns on Google, Meta, and TikTok Ads to maximize lead quality and conversion rates.

Key Functions and Responsibilities:

  1. Campaign Management: Create, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across platforms including Google, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and TikTok Ads, to ensure high-quality lead generation.
  2. Budget Management: Oversee and manage substantial monthly budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  3. Performance Monitoring: Regularly analyze and report on campaign performance, making data-driven decisions to refine strategies and enhance effectiveness.
  4. Lead Quality Optimization: Focus on increasing the quality of leads generated, ensuring alignment with team expectations and company goals.
  5. A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives, landing pages, and audience segments to identify the most effective approaches.
  6. Collaborative Strategy Development: Work closely with the Director, Digital Marketing, and other team members to develop and refine digital advertising strategies.
  7. Industry Trends & Best Practices: Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to keep Equiton's advertising efforts at the forefront of the industry.
  8. Platform Expertise: Ensure best practices are applied in the management of advertising platforms, including the latest algorithm changes and platform-specific features.
  9. Ad Copy & Creative Collaboration: Collaborate with the content and design teams to create compelling ad copy and visuals that resonate with target audiences.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  1. Proven hands-on experience in managing paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and TikTok.
  2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and adjust strategies accordingly.
  3. Experience in managing large monthly advertising budgets with a focus on maximizing ROI.
  4. Familiarity with lead generation strategies and techniques to ensure high-quality lead acquisition.
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
  6. Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads dashboard, Meta Business suite, and other relevant digital marketing platforms.
  7. Ability to stay updated on industry trends and platform updates to ensure campaigns are optimized effectively.

Education and Experience:

  1. Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital advertising, preferably within the finance industry.
  3. Demonstrated success in managing large advertising budgets and optimizing campaigns for lead generation.
  4. Experience with AI-driven ad optimization tools is a plus.
