Role as System Administrator:


As a System Admin at Depix, you will be responsible for designing and deploying secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP to support our machine learning services. You will automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, manage and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost-efficiency, and implement robust security measures. Collaborating closely with our engineering teams, you will integrate CI/CD pipelines, maintain infrastructure automation scripts, and provide technical support. Additionally, you will document best practices and report on infrastructure performance, ensuring our cloud environments are efficient, secure, and aligned with business goals.


We are looking for someone with:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related.
  • 3+ years of experience in system administration, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps roles.
  • Proven experience with AWS or GCP services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, VPC, IAM.
  • Proven experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proven experience with administering Linux-based systems
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
  • Excellent relationship management, customer service and communication skills in a variety of forms (written, live chat, conference calls, in-person.)
  • Experience with machine learning infrastructure is a strong plus.
  • The ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and methodologies in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and autonomous approach to problem-solving and task management.
