  • Verify claimed progress and oversee progress measurement, coordinating with the Integrated Project Team and contractors.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for project controls staff, ensuring effective supervision and resource allocation.
  • Promote and uphold a strong safety culture within the project team.
  • Analyze construction progress and preemptively communicate any concerns or issues to the leadership team.
  • Utilize existing tools and systems for project setup, coding, and reporting.
  • Manage progress measurement, earned value tracking, and interface directly with contractors.
  • Lead the Project Controls team in generating regular status updates and high-quality management reports.
  • Oversee the development of project forecasts and ensure comprehensive variance analysis, offering solutions for any identified risks.
  • Facilitate and support project reviews and audits.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent blend of education, training, and hands-on experience.
  • 15-20 years of relevant project experience, with significant exposure to site-based roles and comprehensive knowledge in estimating, cost control, planning, and change management.
  • At least 10 years in a leadership capacity, demonstrating exceptional people management skills.
  • Expertise in quality management processes, systems, and audit procedures for major project delivery.
  • Proficiency in project control software, such as EcoSys, Primavera P6, SAP, and Oracle.
  • Solid understanding of large capital project workflows across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, health & safety, risk, and related disciplines.
  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders, including functional managers, discipline leads, clients, vendors, and contractors.
