You are a mobilizing and caring HRD and you master not only the day-to-day management but also the strategic issues of human resources in the parapublic sector. Reporting to the General Manager and in collaboration with the various departments, you will:

  1. Ensure the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and programs in the various areas of human resources management (such as internal equity, salary structure, and the CNESST).
  2. Contribute to achieving the organization’s objectives and play a strategic advisory role, by adopting an approach that takes into account the organization’s issues.
  3. Lead and develop a team of more than 15 people.
  4. Design and implement a comprehensive strategic workforce planning plan to effectively assess the organization’s short- and long-term talent needs.
  5. Implement a structured workforce management plan to identify and clarify the organization’s needs and required skills.
  6. Develop and implement an integrated talent management strategy that promotes employee retention and engagement, encompassing recruitment, performance management, skills development, succession management and total compensation processes.
  7. Develop and deploy various initiatives and tools as part of an organizational development and change management strategy aimed at improving the effectiveness, performance and overall health of the organization.
  8. Design and promote the employer brand strategy through various communication and marketing initiatives.
  9. Propose guidelines and strategies for the negotiation of collective agreements and the development of harmonious relations between management and unions.
  10. Develop and implement programs and tools to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
  11. Supervise, develop and motivate the team of executives who support managers and ensure the application of human resources policies and procedures.
  12. Define and develop a service offering based on the business context and best market practices.
  13. Develop, implement and monitor key human resources performance indicators, aligned with the needs of the organization.
  14. Implement various programs and tools to promote an optimal work experience.
  15. Support managers and their teams in developing an organizational culture that values a motivating management style.
  16. Handle and monitor harassment complaints and all human resources issues.
  17. Perform any other related task within your area of expertise.

To meet this challenge, you have:

  • BAC in HR or administration.
  • 10 years of experience in human resources management.
  • 5 years as a team manager and unionized staff.
  • Excellent knowledge of the parapublic sector is a major asset.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent writing skills in French.
  • Leadership, communication skills and the ability to coach and guide teams.
  • Courage in management and team spirit.
  • Ability to mobilize employees and work together in changing environments.
  • Proficiency in planning, control, analysis and synthesis.
  • Ability to manage pressure with tight deadlines and to assume effective risk management on several projects in parallel.
  • Excellent command of written and oral French.
