Summary

Lantic is currently hiring for the temporary position of Human Resources Coordinator based at our refinery in Montreal. This role reports to the Human Resources Director. The Human Resources Coordinator's main responsibility will be developing training strategies and coordinating the entire recruitment process. Additionally, the Human Resources Coordinator will support the HR Director and the HR Supervisor in various human resources tasks such as employee relations, absenteeism management, training, and updating employment files.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO WILL:

  • Coordinate the entire recruitment cycle: Define needs and qualifications, post job openings, assess and select candidates, administratively coordinate all stages of the process, conduct phone and in-person interviews, prepare offer letters;
  • Coordinate training needs and ensure follow-up;
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new employees;
  • Coordinate documentation related to the hiring of new employees;
  • Monitor HR performance indicators within their area of responsibility (e.g., absenteeism, turnover rates, hiring statistics, etc.);
  • Handle all employment verifications, provide requested references for former employees, draft and post all employee-related communications;
  • Assist the Director and the Supervisor in the administration of employee files (health and safety, disability, etc.);
  • Promote and maintain a company culture focused on employee engagement;

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO JOIN THE TEAM :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in recruiting for diverse positions across various categories.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Demonstrates ethics and integrity.
  • Team player, displays professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relational skills.
  • Ability for analysis and synthesis, results-oriented. Sense of urgency and dynamism.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
