We’re a small but mighty team that thrives on impact, innovation, and collaboration. We’re looking for Epilogue’s first Business Development Representative (BDR) to help us expand our reach. What You’ll Do
Lead Generation & Outreach
  • Identify and connect with potential charity partners through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and networking at conferences.
  • Start conversations that help charities see the value of growing their legacy giving programs with Epilogue for Charities.
Sales Development
  • Book and conduct discovery calls with potential partners, learning about their needs and introducing them to Epilogue for Charities.
  • Qualify leads and schedule next steps, including meetings or demos with the team.
  • Stay on top of follow-ups to keep conversations moving forward.
Collaboration & Strategy
  • Work closely with the leadership team to fine-tune outreach strategies and improve our sales process.
  • Keep detailed records of outreach activities and interactions in HubSpot to keep everything organized and actionable.
Moving Leads & Growing Into Sales
  • As you gain confidence in the role, you’ll start joining sales calls and demos with the leadership team.
  • Over time, you’ll take the lead on calls, driving conversations and closing new partnerships.
Who You Are
  • A self-starter who loves learning, taking initiative, and growing in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable with outbound sales, including cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn messaging.
  • A strong communicator who builds relationships quickly and clearly conveys value.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple conversations at once.
  • Motivated by hitting goals, with a results-driven mindset and a proactive approach.
  • Adaptable and excited to work in a startup environment where new opportunities constantly emerge.
What We’re Looking For
  • 1-3 years of experience in a role that involves cold or warm outreach to potential prospects.
  • Proven experience in lead generation and outbound sales, with a track record of driving pipeline growth.
  • Strong researching, prospecting, and account planning skills, with the ability to tailor outreach to potential charity partners.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) to engage prospects, build rapport, and clearly articulate Epilogue for Charities’ value.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (we use HubSpot) and the ability to manage and track sales activities effectively.
  • A team player who collaborates closely with the leadership team to refine strategies and optimize outcomes.
What We Offer
  • Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000 (base salary + commission)
