Job Summary:

As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing applications using Workday tools and technologies. The main focus of the role will be supporting the Workday HCM (Human Capital Management) system by improving integrations, maintaining workflows, and providing technical support for Workday integration issues. Your role will require collaborating with various teams to ensure that business requirements are met while ensuring quality, security, and compliance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain Workday HCM, ensuring consistent performance and improvement.
  • Develop Workday integrations using Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, RaaS Reports, BIRT, Webservice, Extend, Payroll integrations (PECI, PICOF), and business processes, including creating validation rules.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot Workday integration issues.
  • Analyze highly complex business requirements and generate technical specifications for software components and applications.
  • Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts.
  • Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement, and support solutions.
  • Ensure that quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for the supported areas.
  • Adapt to changing environments and adjust work accordingly, maintaining a positive outlook.


Required Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience configuring Workday integrations, including Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, RaaS Reports, BIRT, Webservice, Extend, Payroll integrations (PECI, PICOF), and business processes.
  • 5+ years of experience with HR Systems and familiarity with SaaS applications like Compass, Salesforce, as well as using Workday and/or ADP Global View (Payroll systems).
  • Proven experience in building integrations between Workday and internal systems or external vendors.
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have Skills):
  • Knowledge of Workday Extend and payroll systems is a valuable asset.
  • Experience in requirements gathering and collaborating with business teams to identify technical requirements.

  • Workday Certified (preferred).
