Dispatcher needed immediately in London

$60K - $65K per year, depending on experience

Time : 4AM to 12.30PM (Morning), 12.00PM to 8.30PM (Afternoon)


Responsibilities:

  • Manage approximately 30 drivers.
  • Start of day, issue trucks and assignments
  • Obtain and provide status updates throughout shift
  • Routing/Planning
  • Exception reporting
  • Transition with afternoon dispatcher
  • Use of a TMS (training will be provided)
  • End of Day, receive drivers and paperwork that are ending their day



Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years dispatching experience in the Transportation/Logistics industry
  • Must have geographical knowledge of the London and surrounding areas
  • Highly organized with an aptitude to work in an extremely fast paced and changing environment - Must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong computer skills - AS400 and truckmate an asset
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Must have experience with Dispatching Owner/Operator in the past
