HYBRID WORK: # days weekly in Ottawa office and Home office (to be negotiated at hiring)
Water Polo Canada is seeking an individual, for an entry level position, who will manage projects and help grow the indirect Water Polo Canada revenue streams. The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer while working with the national office staff on projects and assist in expanding Water Polo Canada’s revenue streams:
- Sponsorship
- Retail online store
- Fundraising (RCAAA, National Team, Auction site, Hall of Fame, Charitable Donations)
- Social Media profile
General Duties:
- Under guidance of the National office team develop and complete project tasks as assigned
- Create a National Sponsorship package/strategy and a call list of prospective sponsors
- Negotiate contracts for same in consultation with Chief Executive Officer
- Prepare monthly analysis of activity
The successful candidate will work in a hybrid model and will possess some of the following skills:
- Communication skills (Bilingual while not mandatory is an asset)
- Minimum 3-5 years work experience
- Business and contract knowledge
- Ability to work independently within a team structure
Compensation:
Commensurate with experience and will include a negotiated commission matrix on sales. A full benefit package and other employment rewards are included in the compensation package.
