Description

Supporting Human Resources Business Partners located at various offices. Assist in the creation and maintenance of administrative systems to support HR functions:

  1. Monthly reports
  2. Employee files

Assist with Benefits administration and communication. Liaise with internal partners (Operations, Payroll, Benefits, Pensions). Assist in the recruitment & selection process. Assist HR Consultants with WSIB and Disability Claims Management. Coordination and maintenance of internal programs:

  1. Attendance Awareness
  2. Referral Reward

Assist with special projects/initiatives. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  1. Exemplifies and consistently demonstrates our core competencies of communication, innovation, change management, relationship building, and leadership.
  2. Post-secondary HR related Degree/Diploma/Certificate or equivalent HR related experience.
  3. Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work both independently and within a team.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Strong customer service orientation - ability to effectively communicate HR initiatives, functions, policies, and procedures.
  6. Strong Computer skills - MS Office, experience with SAP is a definite asset.
  7. Previous experience working in a unionized environment is beneficial.
  8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
